Agriculture The raising of crops & animals for food/feed/fiber/fuel/other products.
Artifact A human-made object.
Biotechnology All the technology connected with plan & animal life.
Communication The transmission of information through a common system of symbols/signs/behavior/speech/writing/signals.
Contruction The act/process of building/erecting/constructing buildings/roads/other structures.
Energy The ability to do work. Energy is one of the basic resources used by a technological system.
Engineering Using technological & scientific knowledge to solve practical problems.
Environment The surroundings in which a person/animal/plant lives.
Ergonomics The study of workplace equipment design/ how to arrange & design devices/machines/machines/work space so that people and things interact safely & efficiently.
Industrial Of/relating to/resulting from industry.
Innovation An improvement of an existing technological product, system, or method of doing something.
Invention A new product system/process that has never existed before, created by study & experiment.
Manufacturing The process of making a raw material into a finished product; especially in large quantities.
Math The science of patterns & order & the study of measurement, properties, & the relationships of quantities using numbers & symbols.
Nanotechnology The science & technology of building devices, such as electronic circuits, from single atoms & molecules.
