What is Judicial Review? It is the process of reviewing laws, treaties or executive orders to make sure they match the Constitution.
What phrase in the Preamble relates to our millitary? "Provide for the common defense"
What phrase in the Preamble translates into peace at home? "Insure Domestic Tranquility"
Why was the Preamble written? To narrow down the purposes or goals of our government
What is the most powerful group according to the Preamble? "We the people, in order to form a more perfect union..."
What is one example of the amendment process adding voting rights for some individuals? 15th amendment: black males were granted the ability to vote
What does Article 1 of the Constitution cover? the legislative branch
What does Article 2 of the Constitution cover? the executive branch
What does Article 3 of the Constitution cover? the judicial branch
What does Article 5 of the Constitution cover? the amendment process
What does Article 7 of the Constitution cover? the process of ratification
