Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is lung disease that makes it difficult to breathe. Most people with COPD have both emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Pneumonia an infection of the lungs. Many different organisms can cause it, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Emphysema a lung disease that involves damage to the air sacs (alveoli) in the lungs. Rhinitis inflammation of the mucous lining of the nose.
Epistaxis loss of blood from the tissue lining the nose. Bleeding most commonly occurs in one nostril only. Sinusitis inflammation of the sinuses that occurs with a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection
Influenza a potentially severe acute respiratory illness caused by various strains of the influenza virus. Sleep Apnea a condition characterized by episodes of stopped breathing during sleep.
Laryngitis an inflammation of the larynx (voice box) generally associated with hoarseness or loss of voice Tuberculosis a potentially fatal contagious disease that can affect almost any part of the body but is mainly an infection of the lungs.
Asthma inflammatory disorder of the airways, which causes attacks of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing. Lung Cancer cancer that begins in the lungs, the two organs found in the chest that help you breathe.
Bronchitis an inflammation of the main air passages to the lungs Pleurisy inflammation of the lining of the lungs that causes pain when you take a breath or cough.
