| Assessor | an official who evaluates property for the purpose of taxing it |
| Chamber of Commerce: | an association, primarily of people in business, to promote the commercial interests of an area |
| Charitable Organization | a charitable fund, foundation, or institution |
| Citizenship | : relationship between an individual and a state in which an individual owes allegiance to that state and in turn is entitled to its protection |
| City Planning | the activity of determining the future physical arrangement of a community, involving an appraisal of the present condition, a plan for the fulfillment of these requirements, and proposals for constructional, and financial programs to implement the plan. |
| Election | Formal process by which voters make their political choices on public issues or candidates for public office. |
| Executive Branch | the branch of government charged with the execution and enforcement of laws and policies and the administration of public affairs |
| Federal Government | pertaining to or of the nature of a union of states under a central government distinct from the individual governments of the separate states |

| Local Government | the administration of the civic affairs of a city, town, or district by its inhabitants rather than by the state or country at large. |
| Mayor | the chief executive official, usually elected, of a city, village, or town |
| National Security | a collective term for the defense and foreign relations of a country; protection of the interests of a country |
| Political | having a definite policy or system of government |
| Public Administration | refers to the implementation of government policy and to an academic discipline that studies this implementation and that prepares civil servants for working in the public service. |
| Public Relations | the business of inducing the public to have understanding for and goodwill toward a person, firm, or institution |
| Regulation | a law, rule, or other order prescribed by authority, especially to regulate conduct. |
| Revenue | the income of a government from taxation, excise duties, customs, or other sources, appropriated to the payment of the public expenses. |
| Senate | an assembly or council of citizens having the highest deliberative functions in a government, especially a legislative assembly of a state or nation |
