1700 NC populations and their ways of life

What was the largest group of Pennsylvania Dutch to immigrate to NC in the 18th Century? the Moravians
What NC town was the center of Moravian society? Salem (now Winston-Salem)
What societal trait distinguished the Moravians from other North Carolinians? They were pacifists.
What economic contributions did the Moravians make to NC? craftsmen provided manufactured goods and others provided medical and dental services.
