Why is equal representation important? 2 opposing principles; make sure everything is treated fairly, congress decided to split the house, one equal one proportional
Differences in the qualifications 1. Indirectly elected by State legislatures 2. Have to be a citizen longer 3. Have to be older
Why are their qualifications different? Can have a select group of men that know what they are doing, serve longer, and have a broader knowledge of government affairs
