one or more of an individual’s major life activities
Examples include but are not limited to diabetes, epilepsy, AIDS, Hepatitis B
Non–Communicable Chronic Conditions/Diseases – Accommodations for individuals with non–communicable chronic conditions/diseases may be as simple as providing additional foods
at scheduled times for a diabetic or an assignment to a dorm with a lower bunk for epileptics
Communicable (Infectious) Diseases Many individuals do not know they are infected with a bloodborne pathogen
Additionally, privacy issues and other considerations may prevent some individuals who know they are infected from disclosing their infectious status
