Disciplinary Confinement

Pending a disciplinary hearing will not be acceptable grounds
for placing an inmate into administrative confinement
The Watch Lieutenant or higher authority may deem it necessary to place an inmate in administrative confinement
An inmate will be placed in disciplinary confinement when the Disciplinary Hearing Officer finds the inmate in–violation of DOC rules and regulations
and recommends the inmate be placed in disciplinary confinement
The Classification Lieutenant must approve the confinement
