Field Training OFC

The normal length of the FTO Program is approximately six weeks (exactly 31 working days
The FTO Program is divided into a two–stage (administrative/operational) orientation and two phases of operations training
The Training Sergeant/Coordinator will ensure that each of the recruits work in such varied assignments that their training will be as diversified as possible
Special emphasis will be placed on the recruit having inmate contact on the housing floors and in processing areas as much as possible
