Personal Appearance, Personal Information and Issued Equipment

Each employee will be inspected to ensure he is in compliance with personal appearance requirements based on
Grooming standards . Uniform appearance
The inspecting supervisor will ensure the employee’s current address and phone Number is on file in the Employee Information System (EIS) for recall purposes
If an officer is permanently issued a firearm and body armor and is no longer assigned to a position requiring a firearm or body armor
the equipment will be returned to the Supply Unit
Each employee will be inspected to ensure the following issued items when applicable are worn/accounted for and in good condition/working order
in accordance with General Order XXVII/COR 2.1 Employee Regulations:
Utility belt and accessories OC Spray
Handcuffs and key Issue keys (gates, staff areas, etc
. Jacksonville Sheriff's Office identification card and pocket badge Portable radio
Electronic Control Device (ECD) with additional cartridge
