1 Lack of standardized systems – There are many platforms available, but they all require training and they do not all work with one another.
2 Dependability – Computerized systems are still able to be harmed by floods, fires, power problems, and deliberate malicious attacks.
3 Centralization – A patient who sees various specialists will have an extensive record. Who should be responsible for housing, maintaining, and making the record accessible?
4 Privacy – With so many users accessing the facilities’ networks, patient information could get into the hands of someone not authorized to have the information.
