Aspect Ratio The ratio of the width to hight of an image
Bandwidth The speed at which a computer can transmit info along a network
Compression The process of reducing the size of the image.
Drawing Program A general term for graphics software that uses mathematically defined lines to create an image
GUI Am acronym for Graphical User Interface.
Paint Program A general term for graphics software that uses pixels to create an image
Pixel Consists of a specific color at a specific location in a matrix or grid
Pixel Dimension The number of pixels in a row and column of a raster grid.
Resampling Adding or deleting image pixels during the process of resizing.
Resolution The density of pixels in an image.
