TermDefinition
representative democracy Citizens elect representatives to make decisions for them.
Anarchy Absence of Gov.
Direct democracy Each citizen votes on every decision.
Government society makes and enforces public policies.
Compromise An adjustment of opposing principles or system by modifying some aspect of each.
Public policy all of the many goals that a Gov. pursues in all of the many areas of Human Affairs in which it is involved.
Parliamentary Government the executive branch is made up of the prome minister or premier and the officials cabinet
State a body of people living in a defined territory who have a Gov. with the power to make and enforce law without the consent of any higher authority
Dictatorship a form of Gov.in which the leader has compleate power and authority
Presidential Gov a form of government in which the executive and legislative branch of government are separate and independent and coequal.
