| representative democracy | Citizens elect representatives to make decisions for them. |
| Anarchy | Absence of Gov. |
| Direct democracy | Each citizen votes on every decision. |
| Government | society makes and enforces public policies. |
| Compromise | An adjustment of opposing principles or system by modifying some aspect of each. |
| Public policy | all of the many goals that a Gov. pursues in all of the many areas of Human Affairs in which it is involved. |
| Parliamentary Government | the executive branch is made up of the prome minister or premier and the officials cabinet |
| State | a body of people living in a defined territory who have a Gov. with the power to make and enforce law without the consent of any higher authority |
| Dictatorship | a form of Gov.in which the leader has compleate power and authority |
| Presidential Gov | a form of government in which the executive and legislative branch of government are separate and independent and coequal. |
