2 Major Functions of Congress

1 To make laws for the nation.
2 To represent your district or state.
Functional tention occurs when... A legislator feels what is best for the nation is not best for his district or not what his district wants.
Role Model Delegate and Trustee
Delegate Role model says I do my job best when I vote like the people back home wish me to vote.
Trustee Feels he does his job best when he votes what is best for the nation.
