Scientific Method
| Term | Definition |

| Bias | A slanted view or 1 sided. |
| Conclusion | The close or last part; the end or finish. |
| Constant | Variable that says the same during an experiment. |
| Control | Sample that is treated like other experimental groups except that the independent variable is not applied. |
| Data | Information organized used to make reason or decisions. |
| Dependent Variable | Factor that is being measured during an experiment. |
| Evidence | Thing or things helpful in forming a conclusion; proof. |
| Experiment | Research designed answers scientific questions by observation of a controlled situation. |
| Hypothesis | Prediction or statement that can be tested and may be formed by prior knowledge, any previous observations, and new information. |
| Independent Variable | Variable that can be changed during an experiment. |
| Inference | The act of reasoning from evidence. |
| Model | Represents something that is too big, too small, too dangerous, too time consuming, or too expensive to observe directly. |
| Observation | Watching something closely an dcarefully. |
| Scientific Method | Ways to solve problems that can include step-by-step plans, making models, and carefully thought-out experiments. |
