TermDefinition
Strict Constructionist a particular legal philosophy of judicial interpretation that limits or restricts judicial interpretation.
Liberal Contructionist one who argues interpretation of the provisison of the Constitution particularly those granting power to the federal government.
Consensus general agreement
Direct Tax a tax that is levied on the income or profits of the person who pays it, rather than on goods or services.
Indirect Tax a tax levied on goods or services rather than on persons or organizations
Deficit Financing government funding of spending by borrowing
Public Debt the total of the nation's debts
