4. Continued growth and development in the food processing industry since the Industrial Revolution. | Wider variety of foods available to buy in shops. |
5. World War I and II | Increase in food price. Rationing of food due to food shortages. |
6. Nutritional research has created healthy eating guidelines. | People are becoming more aware of what they eat. |
7. Better transportation, people travelling more to other countries. | Introduction of new food and different cooking methods. |
