judicial branch

inteprets laws. has to do with court like the court system.

what is a felony? sentenced more then a year in prison.
what is a capitol felony? is a crime punishable by death.
what is a misdemeanor? sentenced a year or less in prison.
what is a defendant? the person who is being judged for a crime they might have commited.
who is a plaintiffs? the person who had the crime done to them or the person going agaist the person who commited the crime.
what is the judicial branch? it's the branch that inteprets laws and is the court system.
what is a crime? it's a serious offence regarding as an injury to society.
it's an injury or wrong done to a person that can be compensated with the paymeant of money.
what is criminal law? protects society from the wrong doing of an indiviual.
what is civil law? deals with the relationship between or amoung indivuals.
what are georgia's 7 deadly sins act? senate bill 440-1994.rape,murder,armed robbery,aggrivated child molestation,aggrivated sodomy,aggravated sexual battery,voluntary manslaughter.
who does the deadly sins apply to? adults and juveniles.
if you commit one of the deadly sins where is your trail held and where do you go to jail? superior court and adult jail.
what is a juvenile? not a legal adult.(age)
what is a juvenile judges job? to judge the crimes commited by juveniles
what is truancy? the act of being absent from school without permission.
what is delinquent behavior? a youth crime.
what is supreme court? highest ranking court.also an appellate court.
