georgia civil war

the condederate leaders

jefferson daviswas the preident of the south
had a hard timme finding money to fund the war. the effect was that the south had less money than the north.
the south placed a small tax on land that people would buy. the tax was not collected by most states.
the south also baroowed money from the people with bonds that were made for the south only.. the money theyb got soon became inflation which means it became less worth what it was before the war.
the reson this happend is the price of all the goods whent up and the money did not do the same. this made the farmers less willing to sell crops to the army.
