What area afloat should be designated as a clothing dump for conaminated clothes? A leeward exposed topside position
On land where should the clothing dump be? At least 75 yards downwind from the MTF and living quarters
Contaminated chemical protective overgarments may be worn safely for how long? 24 hours
What MOPP level must personnel be at while decontaminating litters, ambulances, and other equipment? MOPP 4
Why do you not use DS2 n the decontaminable litter? It may dissolve the litter fabric
After decontamination of equipment what should you do prior to placing the item into the general supply area? Use the Chemical Agent Monitor to check for residual contamination
For leather decontamination soak shoes, straps and other leather equipment in water heated to? 122F to 131F (about as hot as the hand can stand it)
What should you use to decontaminate the protective mask with? The M291 Skin Decontamination Kit or the M258A1 Skin Decontamination Kit.
How should you decontaminate litter canvas? By immersion in water for 1 hour, if available add 4 lbs of sodium carbonate per 10 gallons of water. Rinse with clear water after boiling with washing soda.
