CN VII facial, special sense of taste from anterior 2/3 of tongue, somatic motor to muscles of facial expression, visceral motor to submandibular, sublingual, and lacrimal glands
CN VIII vestibulocochlear, special sense of audition and equilibrium
CN IX glossopharyngeal, general sense from pharynx special sense of taste from posterior 2/3 of tongue, visceral sense from carotid baroreceptors and chemoreceptors, visceral motor to parotid gland, general motor to pharynx muscles
