associate's degree an academic degree
ACT A type of test that grades you on how well you know E.L.A, Math, Science, and Social Studies
SAT A type of test that grades you on how well you know E.L.A and Math
transcript A printed version of material that was presented differently
financial aid money that supports someone or a charity
major someone who specializes in a certain subject
minor Something that you aren't very good at
credit Hours based on the number of content hours per a week and you are given this by taking certain classes
public college A university that is funded by the government
private college Are not funded by the government and rely on funds from people who attend the college
