What the purpose of a technical graph? It describes what words alone cannot
What are the different typs of technical graphs? Schematics, Wiring diagrams, Flow charts, Truth tables, Interconnect diagrams.
What does a Schematic diagram provide? It provides a visual representation of a circuit
What is represented in a schematic diagram? Every component, wire, and connection of the circuit is represented
How do signals flow? From left to right
Where are Inputs represented on a schematic diagrams? Inputs on the left. Inputs are: Antenna, Signal source, Voltage source (lower potion)
Where are Outputs represented on a schematic diagrams? Outputs on the right. Outputs are: Speaker, Indicator, Display
What component abbreviation does R represent? Resistor
What component abbreviation does S represent? Switch
What component abbreviation does T represent? Transformer
What component abbreviation does C represent? Capacitor
What component abbreviation does L represent? Inductor
What component abbreviation does D represent? Diode
What component abbreviation does TP represent? Test Point
How are components labeled on a schematic diagram? Components are numbered from left to right in sequence
