Political parties vocab practice

Political Party A group of people who share the same views on issues.
Electorate Eligible voters
Platform the issues and views that a party supports
Liberal usually viewed as on the left of the political spectrum and associated with the Democratic party.
Conservative usually viewed as on the right of the political spectrum and associated with the Republican party.
bias Showing favoritism. Leaning one way or another.
propaganda Techniques used to try to influence opinions.
lobbying The act of trying to influence someone to vote a certain way.
