What is a nation? A community that shares a government and sometimes a common language and culture
What is the Magna Carta? An agreement between King John of England, his nobles, and clergy in which kings power over the nobles
What is the Parliament? A council that advised the king or queen in government matters.
What was the first cornerstone? The Magna Carta
What did the Magna Carta contain? Principals related to justice, laws, and freedom from tyranny
What were the seven principles of the Magna Carta? Limited Government, The Rule of Law, Balance of Power, Power of the Purse, Private Property, Due Process, and Judgement of your Peers
