What are the 5 types of sandwiches? Closed, Open-face, Triple Decker, Finger, Wraps
What is croissant? A flaky,crescent-shaped roll that makes an interesting sandwich.
What is a focaccia? Italian flatbread flavored with olive oil and herbs and spices.
What is a kaiser roll? A round crusty roll that is usually sprinkled with poppy or sesame seeds.
What is a torpedo roll? A long skinny sandwich roll.
What is a Pita? A round shaped flatbread cut open to form a pocket.
What is a tortilla? A flattened round bread baked on a griddle or fried.
What is a chaptti? An indian whole wheat flatbread.
What is a phyllo? A very thin layered pastry dough.
What is a crepe? A small thin pancake made with egg batter.
What is Mayonaise? A suspension of egg yolks, oil, and vinegar or lemon juice.
What is pesto? A sauce made from olive oil, pine nuts, a hard cheese, fresh basil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
What is sauerkraut? A finely sliced cabbage that has been ferminted in brine.
What are the types of hot sandwiches? Basic, grilled, and fried.
