What is the mid-thoracic curvature called? Kyphotic curvature
What ist he mid-lumbar curvature called? Lordotic curvature
What is in the center of the vertebral disc? Mush called nucleus pulpsus which is the only remnant of the notochord
What is the lamallae? Elastic layer that surrounds disc to provide support
What is ligamentum flavum? Runs between the lamina and has more fat in it
What is the occipital condyles? Where the skull attaches to the vertebra
What is the 1st cervical vertebra called? 2nd? 1st=atlas and 2nd=axis
What is the 7th cervical vertebra referred to as? The prominines due to prominent spinous process in back of the neck
Does C7 have vertebral artery in it? No only a plexus of veins
What can happn at the lumbar triangle? Intestinal hernias
Where does the vertebral artery emerge from? out of the middle of the suboccipital triangle
