What does the Vice President do? He takes the place of the President if anything happens to the President

How long do the Supreme Court Justices serve? Life-long terms

What does the Judicial Branch do? They interpret the law (They decide what the law says and if laws agree with the Constitution)
The three separate branches were created to do the work of the government and to keep any one of the branches from becoming too powerful. What is this called? Separation of Powers
the constitution also contains rules that give each branch some power to control the poser of the other branches. What is this called? Check and Balances
What is an example of Checks and Balances? The VETO (a law not signed)by the President. Congress can vote again on the vetoed law and PASS it with a 2/3s vote in favor of the law by both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
