humans are created in the image and likeness of God Of al visible creatures, only humans know and love the creator. Only we are called to share, by knowledge and love, in God's own life.
Humans are called to happiness and holiness True happiness is the goal of our existence and can only be found in God. God calls us to be Holy, so that our desire for happiness may be fulfilled
Humans are rational and free by reason, we can understand the order of things established by the creator. By free willow can direct ourselves to our true good
Humans are moral beings because we intend to do certain things, our actions are moral; they are either good or evil.
humans have passion or feelings they incline us to act or not act. feelings are neither morally good nor evil, its how we respond to these feelings
humans are blessed with a conscience it is like a voice that tells us at the right moment to do good and avoid evil
humans are able to sin when we fail to love God and neighbour, this is what scripture calls is a sin. it is an offence against reason, truth and right conscience. an offence against God.
