| Term | Definition |
| Wrath | Extreme anger |
| Abhor | Viewing something/someone with disgust and hatred |
| Loathsome | Having qualities that are hated by someone |
| Incensed | Being enraged at someone/something |
| Provoked | To instigate (cause) a reaction or emotion in someone (usually a negative one...) |
| Abominable | Causing moral revulsion and disgust |
| Lamentable | something regrettably bad or unsatisfactory |
| Vexation | The state of being annoyed or worried about something |
| Inevitable | Unavoidable. Certain to happen. |
| Fury | Violent anger |
| Chaff | The husk that is separated and left over from grain after harvesting. It's useless and thrown out. |

| Mediator | Someone who tries to bring fighting people together peacefully to come to a resolution. |
| Appease | To give in to someone's demands or to try to make things right with someone. |
| Sovereign | A supreme ruler or monarch. |
| Recompense | Something given as a way to make peace with someone else. |
| Fain | To do something happily or gladly |
| Contrivance | the skill to bring something about or create something |
