Antifederalist | a person who was against the new U.S. Constitution and strong government |
Articles of Confederation | the first plan of government in the U.S. |

cabinet | officials chosen by the president as advisors and leaders |
Checks and Balances | each branch of government the power to limit the power of the other branches |
