Subclavious | O: first rib and cartilage I: inferior lateral aspect of clavicle A: draw clavicle down and foreward, elevate first rib |
Pectoralis Minor | O: ribs 3,4,5 I: coracoid process of the scapula A: depress scapula, abduct scapula, tilt scapula anterior |
Serratus anterior | O: first 8 or 9 ribs I: anterior surface of medial border of scapula A: Roates sacpula superiorlyand laterally, protracts scapula, elevates ribs when scapula is fixed |
Trapezius | O: Occipital bone, ligamentum nuchae and spine of C-7 and all thoracic vert. I: clavicle, acromion, and spine of scapula A: elevates clavicle, adducts scapula superior, elevates or depresses scapula, extends head |
Levator scapula | O: transverse process of first through fourth cervicle vertib. I: supeior medial border of scapula A: elevates scapula and slightly rotates it inferiorly |
Rhomboid major | O: spinous process of T-2 to T-5 I: Medial border of scapula inferior to spine of scapula A: adducts scapula, slightly rotates it inferiorly |
Rhomboid minor | O: Spine of C-7 and T-1 I: Medial border of scapula superior to spine of scapula |
