Fallopian Tubes   Two tubes, that attach each of the ovaries to the uterus. The cilia will push the egg through to the uterus within 4-6 days.

Upper Third   The part of the fallopian tube where the egg is most often fertilized

PID   Pelvic Inflammatory Disease- a blockage of the fallopian, leading to sterility in the female, usually caused by an untreated baterial infection like clamydia or gonorrhea

Tubal Ligation   The cutting and tying of the fallopain tube permantly sterilizing the female

Ectopic or Tubal Pregnancy   When the fertilized egg IMPLANTS OUTSIDE of the uterus

Uterus   The female organ where the fetus develops and can stretch to hold a 21 inch long and eight pound baby.
