Psoas Major | Flexion of the lumbar spine. Unilateral contaction bends the truck laterally.

Iliacus | Assists psoas in flexion of the hip.
🗑

Iliopsoas | Action at the hip joint is flexion and stabilization.

Quadratus Lumborum | Contraction of the muscle causes side bending of the lumbar spine and rib cage.

Thorax | Intercostals

Intercostals | Holds the shape of the rib cage. The muscles are invloved in inspiration and expiration.
