| Mao Zedong- | Communist leader of China of whom peasants loved. |
| Nikita Krushkev- | Soviet premier who sent missiles to Cuba |
| Rosenbergs- | The couples who were charged of giving the information of nuclear bombs to the Soviets. As a result, they were executed in electric chairs. |
| Space Race- | Race between US and USSR of developing rockets and satellites; in the end, the Soviets won. |
| Sputnik- | 1st artificial satellite in space that helped USSR win the space race. |
| Termination policy- | A policy that showed that the United States government will no longer help the Native Americans. |
