| Medicine | herbal cures form England and new ones from nature- some superstitions,not many available, effective cures, but lots of diseases & hazards |
| School | Probably don't have one- if so, you learn to read the Bible- boys learn their father's trade- girls learn domestic duties |
| Cities | Philadelphia was the largest city at the time - dwellings, shops, churches, many natinalities- run errands, learn a trade as apprentice. |
