Gadsden Purchase Purchased because they wanted to build a railway, which was built entirly on US soil.
Nullification When congress placed a tax on inported goods, also made a hiding place to put the goods.
Bear Flag Republic When Mexico owned California, the mexicnas made a flag with a grzzly bear and the words free california on the frount.
