QuestionAnswer
Alliteration repetition of the same sound at the beginning of two or more words
Epic Poetry a lengthy, revered narrative poem about some fictional or nonfictional great or heroic deed
Lyrical Poetry a short poem with one speaker (not necessarily the poet) who expresses thought and feeling
Bandwagon Appeal arguments that urge people to follow the same paths that others do
3rd Person Omniscient a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of all of the characters in the story
3rd Person Limited a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows only the thoughts and feelings of a single character
3rd Person Objective when the writer tells what happens without stating more than can be inferred from the story's action and dialogue
Stage Direction instructions for actors, director, or crew, concerning action with regard to plot
