Attribute (n): a quality, property, or characteristic of somebody or something
Idiosyncrasy (n): an attribute that makes you different from other people
Acerbic (adj): bitter or sharpe in tone, taste, or manner
Sardonic (adj): disdainfully or inronically mocking
Mordant (adj): sharply sarcastic or bitingly critical
Aesthetics (n): how something looks, especially when considered in terms of how pleasing it is
Prolific (adj): highly productive
Discerning (adj): showing good taste and judgement
Eclectic (adj): made up of elements from various sources
Iconoclast (n): someone who challenges traditional beliefs, customs, and values
Heterodox (adj): going against established or accepted beliefs or theories (traditionally used in terms of religion)
Disheveled (adj): disordered and untidy
Deplorable (adj): worthy of severe condemnation
Lethargy (n): a state of physical slowness and mental dullness
Lassitude (n): a state of weariness accompanied by listlessness or apathy
Torpor (n):lack of mental or physical energy

Dogma (n): an authoritive stand that all believers must accept as correct
Belie (v): to disguise the true nature of something
Asinine (adj): Totally stupid or rediculous (literally, it means "like an ass!" Hows that for a memory device?)
Apathetic (adj): not taking any interest in anythign
Petulant (adj): bad-tempered and sulky, like a child
Neophyte (n): beginner (origionally used in the religious sense)
Benign (adj): gnetle, nonthreathign, mild
Innocuous (adj): harmless
Convivial (adj): enjoying the company of others
Genial (adj): having a kind, good natured manner
Jovial (adj): cheerful
Blithe (adj): happy and carefree
Risible (adj): capable of causing laughter
Animosity (n): feeling of hostility
Capricious (adj): tending to make sudden, unpredictable changes
Assimilate (v): to integrate into a group so that diffferences are erased
Constrain (v): to limit or restrict something
Compulsory (adj):required by law or authority
Compel (v): to make something happen by force
Coerce (v): to force someone to do something (usually implies persuasion)
Cursory (adj): done quickly or superficially
Quotidian (adj): ordinary, everyday
Halcyon (adj): peaceful, free from disturbance
Disingenuous (adj):giving a false impression of sincerity
Indefatigable (adj): never showing signs of tiredness

Paragon (n): somebody or somethign who is the best example of something
Opportunist (n): somebody who takes advantage of somethign-- particulary someone who does so in a dishonest or unethical way
Martinet (n): someone who imposes strict discipline on others
Despotic (adj): behaving like a tyrant
Pedantic (adj): too concerend with the correct rules and details
Sublime (adj): of such excellence, granduer, or beauty to inspire great admiration or awe
Incredulity (n): the state of being or unwilling to believe something
Atheistical (n): a theory or belief that God does not exist
Potentate (n): a monarch or ruler, escpecially and autocratic one
Retinue (n): a group of advisors, assistants, or others accompanying an important person
Environ (v): surround; enclose
Emphatic (adj): showing or giving emphaisis; expressing something forcibly and clearly
Adjure (v): urge of request solemnly or earnestly to do somethign
Cessation (n): a ceasing; an end
