QuestionAnswer
What was the colonists "battle cry" and what did they mean by it? No taxation without representation and they meant that they do not have a say in parliament on the taxes or laws passed.
What were the 2 major results of the French-Indian was? 1. England gained a lot of 2. England owed a lot of money so they began taxing colonists
Discuss how the "distance" between the colonies and England effected their relationship. They started thinking of themselves as Americans not as Englishmen. There was also a lack of communication between England and the colonies.
Give 2 reasons why a colonist would have been a loyalist in 1770's America. 1.They were rich and didn't have a problem with the taxes, so they were okay with it 2.They were scared of what would happen
