Massachusetts Bay Colony Settled by the Puritans because they disagreed with the Church of England.Came to colonies to have own place to practice their religious beliefs.
Plymouth Colony Settled by the Pilgrims because they could not practice their own beliefs in the Netherlands.
Compact An agreement made by the pilgrims as to the laws they were to follow for the "general good" of the colony.
Cash Crop A crop grown in a specific area for sale and trade.
