How did women's roles change during WWI? They worked as truck drivers, builders, dock workers, and volunteered at the Red Cross.
What is the Harlem Renaissance? A period of time when African American music and literature (books) became popular.
What were the causes of WWI? Nationalism, Imperialism, Militarism
Who was Archduke Franz Ferdinand? He was going to be the ruler of Austria-Hungary, but he was assassinated (killed).
What is nationalism? Pride in your country.
What is prohibition? A period of time when people could not drink alcohol because it was illegal.
What was the Zimmerman Note? A secret message from Germany asking Mexico to be in a secret alliance with Germany.
