How long ago did the Civil War take place? 150 years ago.
Who was the president during the Civil War? Abraham Lincoln
Who was the confederacy? The southern states that left the Union.
Civil War was between who? North and South
Where and when was the first shots of the war fired at? Fort Sumter in South Carolina April 1861.
When did the Civil War end? 1865
What did the 13th Amendment to the Constitution do for slavery? Made it against the law.
Why did Lincoln not see the 13th Amendment approved (ratified) in 1865. He was killed.
What did Florence Nightingale do? Teach people to set up clean hospitals for wounded Civil War soldiers.
