The Great West and Agricultural Revolution

Clash of the Cultures on the Plains *what was up with the west. It was largely uninhabited. There were only Indians, buffaloes and coyotes,mexicans and Mormons
What happened with the Indians? They fought with each other. Sioux became leader in horse riding
What happened with eh relationships with the Indians and hte Goverment? Treaties were made in Fort laramie and Fort Laramie. The american goverment didn't know what there was many chiefs that ruled over indians thus they wer confused.

After civil war army job The American goverment wanted to clear out the indians to make room for the whties.
indian wars took place in 1864-1890 form the creek massacre to the battle of the wounded knee.Indians had an advnatage because they coulde shot arrows faster than muskets.
