Government The system that rules a country.
Monarchy A government that is run by a King or Queen.
Dictatorship A government that is ruled by one person who has absolute control over the people.
Assembly A group of people who gather together to discuss a topic.
Patriots People who love thier country and are prepared to fight for it.
Loyalists People who support the King.
Industrialization to produce goods using a machine.
Labor To work hard.
Immigration When someone moves to another country.
Abolish To put an end to something.
Ghetto Usually a poor neighborhood in a city.
Agriculture Farming.
Manufacture To produce goods in a factory.
Finance The management and use of money.
Interdependant To depend on each other.
Import To bring products into the country.
Export To send products out of the country.
Legislative Branch The branch of government that makes the laws (Senate and House of Representatives).
Executive Branch The branch of government that carries out the laws. This branch includes the President.
Judicial Branch The branch of government that interprets the laws(Supreme Court and other courts).
