What was slavery'srole in the South? Slavery was profitable for the South
When slaves resisted slavery they were... fighting for their freedom
Slaves resisted by.. pretending to be sick and working slowly
Southern states seceded from the Union because they did not vote for Lincoln and they wanted to keep slavery
