| What was the French and Indian War? What happened during the war? | A 7 year war between the Britsh vs the French and Indians. During the war, the British gained control of Canada and they obtained Florida from the Spanish. |
| What was the Proclamation of 1763? What did the colonists think about it? | Law that stated that the colonists could not settle West of the Appalahcian Mts. The colonists thought they deserved the land after helping the Britsh fight in the F&I war, so they ignored it and settled West anyway. |
