Boston massacre The colonists called the shootings between the british and colonists the boston massacre
boston tea party after dumping 340 chests of tea into the boston harbor the colonists headed home to remove the coustumes
sons of liberty a group of outlaws that ambushed any hated colonist, dressed them up in feathers and beat them occasionaly
intolerable acts in the spring of 1774 the colonists passed the corecive acts
First continental congress a gathering in the fall of 1774 of the deligates from throughout the colonies
Battle of lexington it was the first battle of the revolutionary war
minutemen members of the civilian volunteer militia
SEcond continental congress In may 1775 deligates from 12 colonies met in philidelpha for the second contintal congress
Battle of bunker hill this battle proved to the british that the colonists wouldnt be easly beat
common sense a 47 page pamphlet published in january 1776 that argued seperation between brittian and the colonies
Thomas jefferson was the official author of the decdleration of indipendence
decleration of indipendence this stated that the colonist wanted to break away from brittian
