| Loyalists | People who were Loyal to England. Were against Protests and thought America should stay with England. |

| Who fought (groups) in the American Revolution | Slaves and women also fought in the Revolutionary war. Slaves were granted freedom if they fought in the war. Women would secretly fight and take place of men. |

| Treaty of Paris | Great Britain recognized the freedom of America. This is what gives us our freedom from England today. |
