The First Continental Congress. A gathering in the fall of 1774 of delegates from throughtout the coloies.
the Battle of lexington- Concord 1775 British found out a colonist army in lexington was the shot heard around the world.
Who are minutemen? Members of the civilian volunteer milita.
The Second Continental Congress 1775 In May 1775, delegates from 12 coloines met in Pholadelphia stated they should have an army called the continental army.
The Battle of Bunker Hill This proved the colonists could take on the British.
What is Common Sense 47 page pamphlet published in January 1776 thaat urged seperation from Great Bitain.
Thomas Jefferon He was a member of the philosophy goverenment and wrote the Declaration of Independence
What is the Delaration of Independence It annouced that the colonies should 'break away' from Great Bitain
